Even when a disaster is your fault, God has a way forward
After a disaster, how do you turn your life around? What if you were to blame?
While this story is about Zack, it is more about what God did in and through him when Zack made himself available to God. However, you won’t always like Zack.
As a fore-warning, you wont like the beginning of his story. It's uncomfortable. Then there's the 'messy middle', followed by a self- inflicted disaster where you will cringe. You may find yourself disappointed, disgusted, or even angry.
Yet from that failure comes beauty, and a wonderful ending. At the end though, everything wont be wrapped up in a neat bow, yet it will be undeniably better than what came before.
After a disaster, how do you find hope?
What if you are still in the middle of it, walking through wreckage?
It’s like being swept over the side of a boat during a storm. The worst has happened, and now you must tread water to stay alive amidst the chaos. Can you see a light in the distance and swim toward it? Or will you wait for a rescue that may never come?
